A key member of the executive team responsible for the development and ensuring the implementation of IBEDC’s business transformation strategy. The candidate is entrusted with identifying new growth opportunities, developing new products and services, and optimizing IBEDC’s operations, which must be aligned with the government’s power sector reform agenda. This role requires possession of a profound understanding of our business landscape, industry dynamics and an impressive record of accomplishment of spearheading successful transformation initiatives. The candidate must possess the ability to inspire innovation, lead with strategic acumen, and guide IBEDC through the current transformation using the turnaround strategy.
A key member of the executive team responsible for providing strategic leadership and oversight of the corporate services functions of IBEDC including Human Resources, Information Technology, Branding & Corporate Communication, Supply Chain & Administration, as well as Compliance, to ensure effective and efficient management of the company’s resources. The role plays a critical role in the company’s overall success and will need to possess a strong understanding of corporate governance, risk management, and the ability to manage complex projects and teams to support the business units’ growth.
Will be responsible for leading IBEDC’s human resources function to develop and implement a workforce strategy that will cultivate a thriving organizational culture. Deep knowledge of employment law, talent management, and employee relations is required for the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures that align with IBEDC’s business objectives to attract, retain, and develop exceptional talent. The role will ensure IBEDC’s operations are in line with HR best practices to ensure the company’s growth and success. The role reports to the Chief Corporate Services Officer.
he Head of Information Technology plays a critical role in shaping the organization’s technology landscape, driving innovation, and ensuring the seamless operation of IT systems to support business growth and success. The candidate is to support the growth of IBEDC by managing required resources and working collaboratively with other departments to deepen and diversify existing businesses as well as develop new ones to achieve revenue growth.
