Mawuli Ababio is an accomplished Corporate Financier/Investment Banker with over 30 years experience. He has proven experience in private equity fundraising, deal structuring in the African context and strong business development skills.

He is currently Chairman/Managing Partner of PCM Capital Advisors (“PCA”). PCA”) acts as Investment Advisor to PCM Capital Partners, Mauritius (“PCP”). PCP is the manager of West Africa Emerging Markets Growth Fund (“WAEGMF”), a regional private equity fund with a diversified investment portfolio in several countries in the West Africa sub-region.

Mawuli graduated in 1983 with a BA in Politics, Philosophy, Economics (PPE) from the University of Keele, Staffordshire. He also holds a Master’s Degree in International Business from the University of Reading, Berkshire, in the UK.

Mawuli has extensive board and corporate governance experience having served on several listed and unlisted boards over the last 25 years, both as an Executive and Non-Executive Director. He is bilingual, speaking fluent English and French.

In 2021, the French National Order of Merit was presented to Mawuli in recognition of his distinguished efforts in the exercise of his duties in public, civil and private life as well as the promotion of the learning of French and French interest in Ghana
