Arc. Mansur Kurfi Ahmadu obtained his B.Sc.(Arc) and M.Sc (Arc) from the Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, 1971-1977. He later went to the UK and obtained a Post- Graduate Diploma (Urban Planning) from the A-A Architecture School, London – 1981-1982; followed by an M.Sc. ( Project Management) t the University of Reading, UK – 1989-1991 and then a Certificate in Managing Professional Firms from the Harvard University Business School, Boston, USA-2006.

His work life span many organisations across different countries including Multi-Systems Limited- Partner/Director – 1984 – Date; Benna Associates/Kenzo Tange& Urtec, Japan – 1981 – 1984; Kenzo Tange`s office in Tokyo, Japan – 1981 – Jan to June; Rational Architects, Ibadan – 1977 – 1978, 1979-1980; Federal Capital Development Authority—1978- 1979.

He has served and is still serving on several national and corporate boards in various board leadership positions as enumerated hereafter; Chairman NIA Education Board – 2010-2014; Chairman of Education, Commonwealth Assoc. of Architects. – 2007-March 2016; Member NIA Education Board – 1988-Date; Member Federal Government delegation to Nigerian Infrastructure Investment Forum in Washington DC – 2012; Chairman NIA Electoral Board – 2007-2010; Chairman NIA International Affairs – 1990-1994; Chairman B.O.T. of Project Management Development Assoc. of Nigeria – 2013-date
