1. Develop and oversee the implementation of appropriate regulatory strategies, which the IBEDC will integrate into its corporate strategies for maintaining a friendly relationship with regulators.
2. Network and provide regulatory intelligence to give IBEDC business advantage..
3. Advise stakeholders on the provisions and impact of the eligible customer legislation and other related laws and orders.
4. Develop and implement initiatives to retain key customers that have indicated or [are] likely to indicate interest to exit IBEDC network under the eligible regulations’ framework.
5. Develop strategies for the re-acquisition of customers that have exited IBEDC network under the eligible legislation framework.
6. Develop and support various models to be used in the calculation of charges relevant to customers exiting IBEDC network under the eligible legislation and oversee the filing and responses to the regulator to ensure approval.
7. Supervise that notice of charges computed are served to appropriate entities and monitor that revenue due to IBEDC from charges served are received.
8. Attendance of the Commission’s major regulatory meetings and those that require the presence of Disco MDs/CEOs.
9. Carry out other sundry assignments as may be directed by the MD/CEO.
